Bilal Bin Saqib: The Blockchain Diplomat Behind Pakistan’s Tech Diplomacy
In less than six months, Bilal Bin Saqib has emerged as a central figure in Pakistan’s pivot toward digital assets. A social entrepreneur turned blockchain advocate, his appointment as Special Assistant to the PM on Blockchain in May 2025 raised eyebrows across political and tech circles.
Saqib’s roadmap includes crypto regulation, blockchain integration in public finance, and international Web3 partnerships. Under his influence, the PCC has evolved from a fringe lobby group into a key institutional player driving tech-centric policy.
